Salvation
· Man is saved by grace alone, through faith alone for Christ’s sake alone, not of works lest any man should boast.
· God’s grace is universal and offered to all men. (Ezek. 33:11; 1Tim. 2:3-4)
· Christ has made full atonement for our sins.
· God’s Grace can only be rejected prior to conversion.
· Man can fall from Grace because of His rejection of God’s word and Savior. Man can lose His salvation. (Genesis 3, Hebrews 6)
SBC
Salvation
· Salvation is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior who by His own blood obtained redemption for the believer.
· Christ has made full atonement for sins by His death on the cross and His resurrection.
· Man is justified by Faith alone apart from works of the Law. This faith is wrought by God through a religious experience. Therefore certainty of salvation lies within one’s own perception of that religious experience.
· All true believers endure to then end. Those who decided for Christ and sanctified by His Spirit will never fall away. (Once saved always saved.)
