THE CLUB

The Gold Coast Bushwalkers Club Inc. is a club of about 400 members who enjoy the outdoors by bush walking, camping, kayaking, cycling & other related activities

HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Where practical we will collect your personal information directly from you such as when you complete a membership application or sign on for an activity.

When you visit our web site, our web site may store “cookies” which record details of your server address and your usage of our web site such as what pages you view. We use “cookies” only for internal management purposes and do not use them to collect personal information.

We collect and receive personal information to enable us to send newsletters, phone through changes to activities & email other notices about club events.

DISCLOSING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

From time to time we publish a phone list of all members so that members can freely contact each other. A notice in our monthly newsletter for 3 consecutive months advises all members when we are planning to publish an updated phone list & if you do not wish to have your phone details published to other members you may advise the Membership Officer by telephoning 0424 383 283 or by email to goldcoastbushwalkers@gmail.com.au

UPDATING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

It is very important that the personal information we collect from you is accurate, complete and up-to-date. From time to time we may ask you to advise us of any changes to your personal information. You can also contact us at any time to update your personal information or to advise us that the information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete.
