This year our Christmas paddle is to be around the canals of Runaway Bay. The launch site is from a small sandy beach behind Target at the Runaway Bay Shopping Centre. Good nearby car parking. Directions: Enter Runaway Bay Shopping Centre from MORALA Ave ENTRY; You will then see 3 large Target signs to the right; at the T Section ahead Turn right; Continue until you see the Target “Parcel Pickup” and “Receiving “ Bays on the left; Turn left into the driveway behind Target. Park about 50 metres ahead. The kayak will be for approximately 2 hours. You should have good lighting on your kayak as there will be quite a bit of boat traffic. BYO drinks and nibbles to enjoy at Jane/Roly's house after the paddle. Arrive at 6:30 for 7:00 pm departure.
