Lismore to Casino Bike ride

OVERVIEW

This bike ride is normally run as part of the Casino Beef week bike base camp.

We leave our campsite in Lismore at 8am Saturday morning and cycle to Casino on the Caniaba Road. It is a lovely country ride (undulating at first and then flat as you approach Casino). We lock our bikes together in Casino. We then all do our own thing -- whether it is watching whip cracking, craft, orchid or flower shows, or the poets at the Cecil Hotel. We meet back at the bikes at 1-30pm to return to Lismore. The return trip is 53k.

DIRECTIONS

• • Leaving the caravan park we turn left into Bruxner Highway

  • Turn right into Caniaba Road

  • Turn Right into Spring Grove Road which becomes East Street in Casino

  • Cross the Bruxner highway

  • Turn Right into North Street

  • Turn Left into West street

  • Park bikes behind the Anglican Church
