Social Event Saturday 5pm to 10pm . 7th October, 2023
The arrangements for the upcoming BUSH DANCE are well underway with a fabulous Bush Band booked together with the Tallebudgera Community Hall . The committee will only charge an entrance of $10 to help cover the overheads and we look forward to a wonderful social evening. Pre-drinks and get-together will commence at 5pm (BYO) followed by your picnic dinner or bar-b-que. The country setting is ideal. At 7.30pm the band will commence so we'll move into the hall for the dancing, live music, prizes and lucky spots. If you can't dance, don't worry, just enjoy the music and have fun. Bring your friends, they don't have to be members.
The committee has ratified an exciting social event for later in the year. It will be a wonderful chance to have a get-to-gether outside of the usual Christmas party. Members who have been to a pilgrimage will testify that the Saturday night bush dances are so much fun. The live band puts you through the paces so there is no need to worry if you haven't done it before. There is no need for a partner, just come along. Before the band begins at 7.30pm we invite everyone to bring along their picnic dinner or bar-b-que and enjoy happy hour and a get-to-gether from 5pm. BYO. Table and chairs are in the hall. More details later but mark it on your calendar. We would like as many of our members as possible to attend.
