Seven bushwalkers braved the wet conditions at Binna Burra - our spirits were not dampened! After doing the first part of the circuit we went up to the Lodge and had a delicious morning tea of scones, jam, cream and coffee for only $5. Instead of sitting in the rain with our own food we ate in comfort and enjoyed the view. Then we visited the Sky Lodges and were lucky enough to see inside one of them. We returned to the start via the bush track which was clearly sign-posted, but that was a mistake as it was overgrown with wait-a-whiles and clogged by fallen trees. At the Information Centre we were told we should not have walked that track as the rangers are not servicing it. A sign at each end would have been a good idea! We still had a great morning’s walk and I was delighted with the cheerful atmosphere. Thank you everyone.
