STOW -- Lawrence A. Aaron, 77, passed away January 13, 2019. Lawrence was born in Crates, Pa., and resided in Stow the last 26 years. He was a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church and was an engineer in the communications industry. He is survived by his wife, Janet; children, David (Joan) Aaron and Brian (Michele) Aaron; grandchildren, Becki (Daniel) Gonzalez, Tommy, Caitlyn, and Michael; sister, Marlene Zwibel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.

Janice M. (Attenberger) Pape, 66, of South Greensburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born April 9, 1941, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John F. and Ethel Roadway Attenberger. She was a member of the South Greensburg United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Charles F. "Freddy" Pape Jr.; and two brothers, Richard C. and Larry A. Attenberger. She is survived by her husband, Charles F. Pape; a son, Jeffrey A. Pape, of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Amanda Pape and Jeffrey Pape Jr., both of Greensburg; two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Shailynn Pape; two brothers, J. Edward Attenberger and wife, Mary Ella, of Jeannette, and Kenneth J. Attenberger and wife, Leslie, of Frisco, Texas; three sisters, Drusilla A. Attenberger, of South Greensburg, Darlene Pape, of Greensburg, and Marlene Resecker, of Ozark, Ala.; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, Greensburg, is assisting with arrangements.

Albin E. "Pike" Anderson Jr., 62, of Edgewood, N.M., formerly of Southwest Greensburg, died of cancer Wednesday, March 31, 2004, in Loveless Hospital, Albuquerque, N.M. He was born Feb. 15, 1942, in Southwest Greensburg, a son of the late Albin Sr. and Cecelia Cranmer Anderson. He was a former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Southwest Greensburg, where he was a Boy Scout, an Eagle Scout and a troop leader assistant. He graduated from Greensburg High School, Class of 1959. He served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps and a year in Korea with the Marines as a civilian after his tour of duty. After the service he lived in Boulder, Colo., and had a couple of great jobs! One of which he traveled to different countries such as South America, South Africa, Sweden, France, and England and many states here in the U.S.A. while working with the copper mines. Also he worked for the Ball Corp. Aerospace Systems Group in the Experiment Scoring & Control Center and Ground Site near Kihei, Maui, Hawaii, on the Relay Mirror Experiment (RME) to Advance Ground-Based Laser Technology for three years. One of those years his son, Jared, lived with him, attended high school and both got certified as "Open Water Divers." He is survived by his son, Jared C. Anderson and his wife, Sabrina, and two grandsons, Blain Christian (2 years) and Trey Donovan (11 months), all of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Paul W. Anderson (address unknown); two nephews, Shane David Anderson and Sean Eric Anderson and his wife, Jennifer, and their daughter, Megan (7 months); and a sister, Mrs. Ronald (Carole) Cinibulk, of Latrobe. Funeral arrangements were private.

Joseph R. Austeri, 79, of Southwest Greensburg, died Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born July 11, 1941 in Greensburg, a son of the late John V. and Mary (Temporali) Austeri. Prior to retirement he had been employed by Clairton Works. He was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. He was also a member of Youngwood Sportsman’s Club. Joe loved going to his granddaughter’s softball games. He was her number one fan. He also loved to share his passion of fishing with his grandson. He loved them both dearly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline F. (Hoover) Austeri; two brothers, Robert and Rudolph Austeri; his nephew, Robbie Austeri; and his brother-in-law, Richard Shaner. He is survived by his daughter, Julie M. Osikowicz (Jeffrey), of Greensburg; grandson, Jordan Osikowicz (Bethany Tewksbury); granddaughter, Jenna Osikowicz; two sisters, Helen Shaner, of Greensburg, and Teresa Austeri (Bob Heaps), of Delmont; two brothers, John Austeri (Becky), of Greensburg, and Thomas Austeri (Nikki), of Greensburg; sister-in-law, Jane Austeri, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 6 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11 AM Monday in the funeral home.
