The State Tournament was last Saturday. We finished 25th out of 35 teams. We ended up with 4 Qualifying Points (a 2-3-0 record).
Our highest-scoring match was round 2, when we were paired up with 250 the Ninja Pirates. Unfortunately, we got stuck on the center floor goal during the Autonomous Period, and we had to be knocked free to participate in the Endgame. The Ninja Pirates scored 75 points in ring score, and then they lifted our robot 9 inches off of the floor for another 60 points, for a total of 130 points.
In our last match, we were out of action because we forgot to start our program. It was a good learning experience, however. Always make sure that the program is running!
In the end, 4147 SuperCell and their two partners defeated 250 the Ninja Pirates and their partners to win the tournament. SuperCell and Inspire Award winner 5309 Plan B were invited to the FIRST World Festival in April.
