This Canadian Adventure Team's Commanding Officer is actually an Astronaut. When he is stationed at H.Q., he assigns the team's missions and maintains communication with them during their mission.
When you report to HQ, you know what is coming when the Commander says ,"I have a tough assignment for you."

G.I. jAMES is the team's Forward Observer (FO). The FO The FO serves as the eyes of indirect fire support. He leads, supervises or serves in intelligence activities such as target processing for artillery units and maneuver brigades. The FO calls in target locations and adjustments to the Fire Direction Center (FDC) via radio or (less commonly) landline.
