The location of Guadualito on the Roble River Canyon constitutes its greatest charm. The canyon has a depth of 120 m (366 ft), and, at the reserve, its slopes are covered by a developing secondary forest that offers many possibilities, including bird watching.
Under appropriate weather, it is possible to spot in the distance the highest peak of Tatamá National Park (3950 m.o.s.l.) on the Western Cordillera, and the snow-capped Nevado del Tolima (5273 m.o.s.l.) on the Central Cordillera.
