Moved by Aaron Sorkin’s letter, & aiming to help try to buttress any flagging Spirit, I’m inspired to write that, at the Villa's counterpart in Texas, St. Mary's University, after changing majors from math-physics to psychology, two takeaways left a deep impression. One, for self-development, aim for "Hardy Individual" ("Teddy Roosevelt, Inspiring He Was!" - Yoda). Two, verify your "anchor" is set to "self-referential", not "other-referential" - with "other", you’re buffeted about by forces often beyond your control and joy turns to grief at the flip of a card, leaving one feeling ungrounded; with "self", it is your perennial, even primordial, inner Light, Love, Truth, Power & Work at making the world a better place, that blazes out of you like a star, indomitable as Mount Everest, lighting up the world's dim recesses as one lopes about through "Life's Great Pageant". As young grasshoppers back then we were advised, when disaster struck, to heal any grieving then get on with the fight; as the Internet & newsfeeds seem resplendent with articles on just these two topics, some of the most salient spotted are listed below with their URLs fully expanded to indicate the quality of the source.
Heal Grief
● “Shock and Loss for the Losing Side: How to Heal, Individually and Together”
● “The Critical Role of Self-Care for Handling Post-Election Stress”
● “3 mindfulness practices for grief, loss & building resilience”
● “America's actually had worse presidential races than this one”
Fight Back
● "Trump won. Here’s how to fight back"
● "Don't Mourn, Fight Like Hell | Mother Jones"
● "How to fight Trump, starting right now"
It feels like we're back at ‘60’s UC Berkeley, hurling bottles at stuff.
At least this time around we may get help, if not at least some cheer, from Artificial Intelligence’s like Amazon’s Alexa Babelfish.

Activist Resources

Between the surfacing of the latest “candidate for RICO lawsuit” developments, adding to the ever-lengthening list of claims of illegal activities, from the growing number of women & girls...

...to the information on himself he personally relayed, concerning Bunga party illegal drug use & reported pedophilia activity, in an interview with New York Times journalist Michael Gross for, & as recorded, in Michael’s book “My Generation”, in the chapter/section named for the now Prez, all it might take is just 1 or a few claims to prove true to legally oust the offender, at least that's the hope - Nixon was taken down on far less, as almost was Bill Clinton.
The Prez: “Now the world’s most powerful man, how can we go up against him?” - paraphrased from Ullmann’s post comment
As individuals we can leverage the well-funded power of venerable news organisations like BBC, NYTimes & The Economist & reliably count on their their robust & talented R&D staff to do the research & surface the issues, while newer resources of the same ilk take things a stage further, like Prime Time HBO’s effective political activism-oriented show, John Oliver’s "Last Week Tonight" - once his R&D staff reveal the dark underbelly of an issue, they typically offer effective strategies for resolving problems, frequently identifying, hooking up with, & acting as a clearinghouse for agencies & NGOs working on the problem, followed by offering a short list of recommended optimized actions you can take take to participate. The following resources are particularly useful:
● Watch “Noam Chomsky on Donald Trump & Hate & Fear”
●● Noam Wiki
● Read Orlando’s Comment (on the post "Moved by Aaron Sorkin’s letter”) Share article “Autocracy: Rules for Survival”
● Checkout a companion article spotted while reading Orlando’s “Autocracy” article, which looks like a direct answer to Ullmann’s question, the article “The Way to Stop Trump”
● Watch, Seriously, "Last Week Tonight", host John Oliver's insightful political satire, problem analysis and solution commentary, delivered with classic British insight and wit. His effective political activism & research staff reliably and deeply penetrate the underlying goings-on of political situations, expose the infractions and recommend more likely successful approaches and solutions backed by credible university and political resources. On his post-election episode, he announced he is dedicating the entire resources of the staff and show to closely monitoring and tracking the developing situation, as if the country were a patient on life support, & starting with that episode presented a list of organizations to support. The show airs on HBO Sunday nights & the full current episode is on their "Subscribe To" YouTube Channel "LastWeekTonight": [post-election episode] “President-Elect Trump: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)”
● The Economist, of course keep it close; the current post-election 11/12 issue is loaded with ~ a dozen hard-hitting analysis articles: “The Trump Era...Global impact…America divided…Economic consequences”
● "We the People" Reflection: It may well be that this current situation is just the kind of development the Founding Fathers had in mind for protection against, by building in a system of "checks and balances", multiple arms/branches of government bodies, etc. that provide constraints and push-backs should other areas go out of control, contributing a built-in self-adjusting/balancing effect, like sailors in stormy seas leaning way over the sides of the sailboat to keep her upright - all the more likely to succeed with conscious public attention and participation, such as offered above. Already push backs are kicking in as our military generals are demanding "Das Prez" take Climate Change seriously as a threat to national security due to its droughts causing severe food shortages, the other issue besides corruption that triggered the Arab Spring
