Psych Profile:

While not overtly muscular, Siarra looks like a woman who can defend herself. She is sleek, toned and has an air that means business. Her walk is more of a slink, her voice more of a purr than the average woman and there is certainly something of a feline grace to her movements. Brunette hair curls onto her shoulders and sly, brown eyes reveal more of her soul than she’d like.

Planning and organization are for people who are too weak to handle stress, at least in Siarra’s mind. She is tough and strong willed, more stubborn than a person should be and possess a firey temper that is easy to flare. She enjoys the buzz of taking risks, sometimes to a dangerous degree. Everything has to be at an extreme for her otherwise she finds herself becoming more and more reckless in an attempt to pass the time.

Her months in therapy have countered some of her carefree recklessness and have left her with a despondency that can be worrying. Thankfully, being reunited with Kit has helped to settle her a little and she is growing to be more mature and level than her younger self. The temptation to give in to Amp is still strong but the worry of losing Kit is stronger so she fights it.

She often comes across as rude but often it is just that she doesn't really know how to interact with people politely or feels that there is no need for manners.

Though she was born on the Federation Diplomatic Courier Mahatma Gandi, Siarra doesn’t remember much of her life before the Orion pirate attack that decimated the ship and killed her parents. She remembers with vague fondness the woman who served in place of her mother; Iraxte – an Orion ‘slave woman’ who met with her just after she was captured. Siarra worked hard on the pirate ship, learning rapidly to do any and everything shoved at her. She watched, studied and mimicked from the corners and edges of their society, learning everything from teasing and tricking electronic equipment to social engineering. Each night for over two years, she returned to her room that she shared with Iraxte, quietly excited about what she was learning, planning and refining the plans with her adopted mother for them to escape, to get off the ship and away from pirates.

Until she found that Iraxte was the ship’s Captain, not the slave she claimed to be.

Whatever love she felt turned to cold hatred – for Iraxte, for the ship and its crew, and for life in general. She promised herself she would never be tricked again, but instead ensure that she was the one in control of her life.

Siarra escaped shortly thereafter, and landed on a Cardassian station. She began to hustle the hallways, conning, stealing, trafficking – anything that would challenge her skills and make money. After several near misses with law enforcement, she changed tracks when she met a smuggler named Dash Ashedta. She signed aboard with his ship, and soon learned the fine art of moving what shouldn’t be to places it wasn’t wanted. Siarra became Dash’s right hand, working as his business manager, his executive officer and, when needed, his muscle. She quickly learned how to ‘false face’ people; she could become a chameleon, convert her entire self into anyone, at any time. She began to use performance-enhancing drugs, reveling in the ability to exceed the human norm.

Finally, she felt as though she’d arrived - until she met Dash’s son, who was placed under her wing to ‘learn the family business’. Resentfully, Siarra began to train Kit Vre’Silva, who’d recently ran away from his rich, spoiled, neat and tidy life to be like his father, to become a smuggler himself. But Kit learned fast, thought quickly on his feet, and reacted well under any and every situation as she coached hi along. Soon, she began to feel something she hadn’t felt before – genuine affection. Her life moved to new heights, and with “Quick” Vre’Silva by her side, there wasn’t anything they couldn’t do.

Until the day she heard that both Dash and Kit had lost their ships; a Defiant Class cruiser in a well-developed sting operation had captured each of them. Again, her world fell apart, and she sank deeply into despair. She began to take dangerous operations, more and more lethal jobs with higher risks – the drive to beat the system heightened with the desire for oblivion. But she achieved neither – each job was performed flawlessly, and went smoothly due to her habitually paranoid plans and unblemished detailed execution. She had, however, wracked up quite a bit of attention by agencies such as Starfleet; her name and image began to circulate around Alpha and Beta Quadrant, advertising rewards for capture.

Which came from the last job she’d been able to perform; a snatch-and-grab mission from a wealthy, well-paying client who wanted her son back in the family’s fold and business. The surprise quickly turned to vengeance when she learned that M’Tea Vre’Silva wanted her son pried from his Starfleet physician’s job and rank. Despite every plan, every reasoned response and attempt seemed to fall apart before it could be executed. Desperate to finish the job, she pushed too far, at the wrong time and place when she confronted him – and failed, for the first time. Starbase Security, who was extremely surprised at the capture, apprehended her in the botched attempt. However, Kit Vre’Silva pleaded her case, claiming the drug abuse and family history were the cause of her behavior, not any maliciousness on her part. This was the last straw – and she broke down, mentally and physically.

It took a year and a half of therapy and detoxification before Siarra returned to a normal state. As soon as she was stable, she was loaded on a contract carrier for transport – the SS Eagle Carrier. Fortunately for her, though it didn’t quite seem like it at the time, the Eagle Carrier and it’s Federation Escort, the USS Elizabeth were swept through a singularity abandoning them nowhere near their destination. The Eagle Carrier was destroyed and prisoners transferred to the Elizabeth.

It was here that Siarra was reunited with Kit, a situation that neither were particularly happy with in the beginning. But over the course of the three year mission Siarra was successfully integrated into the Elizabeth’s crew and, with the help of the Elizabeth’s CO Annabelle Aerheart and, of course, Kit, she became stable and drug free.

When they finally made it back home, Captain Aerheart negotiated a full pardon for Siarra which was, eventually, accepted. Though she and Kit had reunited as a couple they both realized that she needed a chance to prove to herself that she was once again able to function on her own without the requirement of constant supervision. Despite Siarra’s reservations about someone hiring her, to her immense surprise she was offered the job of Intel Officer on board a Border Patrol ship, the FBP Spartan.

Siarra is far more stable than she was when she encountered Kit on Starbase 60 but there is still a bubbling tension under the steady surface. Amp is a temptation that she constantly has to fight and as a result she is always worried that she will not be strong enough to. Her love for Kit is what keeps her going on a daily basis and she knows that if she can successfully complete this one year, she will have proved that she is strong enough to live free, hopefully with Kit at her side.
