Rome & Venice:
Article Critiques 1 & 2
I have fond memories of Rome & Venice. Taking a gondola ride and roaming the streets of Rome and the coliseum was exciting and I can’t wait to go back. I experienced these when I was a teenager but I think I would appreciate it differently now. I want to revisit the coliseum and the museums now that I’m older. Likewise, I included both of these article critiques as they were my first critiques I have written in my MET courses so far but they would later inspire me. I was starting to get a hang of the academic writing. However word totals were always my nemesis as I would start with about double the allotted amount and would synthesize and cut from there. These critiques were modeled after the guidelines in the Gay, Mills & Airasian 2009 text. I received 100% on both so I think that I must have done it right! These two assignments gave me the confidence to tackle my literature review, research proposal and over a year later, my case study for ETEC 580!
