Cities & Scenery:
Artifacts
Artifact Selection
Selecting artifacts must be done decisively. As a result, I started with a large list of artifacts to make my selections from including a of types of artifacts from each course which showcases the variety of different types of work I’ve done and tools I’ve learned to use. The selection and collection of my artifacts was very purposeful to showcase and celebrate my newly acquired skills, knowledge and achievements while providing relevance, credibility and meaning to my learning journey as my reflections tie the learning, the metaphor and the journey together (Lorenzo and Ittelson, 2005). (Tutkaluk, 2011) Each artifact is accompanied by a reflection of why it is a meaningful representation of my growth and why each deserves to be displayed while connecting to my metaphor: Globetrotting.
I have three types of artifacts
