Fiji - The Beach: 590 eP Proposal

The beach was spectacular no matter which resort we were at.  It was our final stop before returning home after a 6 month expedition. I really loved laying on the beach, enjoying the sun and reflecting on my whole journey and each of the places I had visited and the many great people I had met along the way.  I made sure that I enjoyed every experience of this last unique place, Fiji. 

Likewise, ETEC 590 has given me a chance to look back and reflect on my entire MET journey.  This eP proposal was composed using feedback from peer reviews and from a checklist I created from prior eP analysis at the beginning of the course.  I really enjoyed working with my CoP and receiving very valuable feedback from which to make revisions to my eP proposal. 

My eP site aligned fairly closely with my eP proposal but a few adjustments were made to the metaphor.  I originally had destinations (countries) and scenery as my courses.  But, I ended up creating sceneries and cities to represent my artifacts instead of the luggage and packing.  I used the luggage and packing for the tech tools, websites and programs I had used and then I completely omitted the accommodations category.  I also changed fuel from all my favourite MET resources to my eP site resources.  I then added a category for my favourite MET resources called souvenirs.  I also added a post card category to place my acknowledgements and thank you’s.  Most of the artifacts on my Metaphor chart were included in my eP but a few of the artifacts on the chart did not make final cut to be included.
