Latvia

Latvia (Latvija in Latvian) is situated on the eastern shore of the Baltic Sea, and has a total area of about 64,500 square kilometres.  It is bordered to the west by the Baltic Sea, to the north by Estonia, to the east by the Russian Federation, to the south-east by Belarus, and to the south by Lithuania.  For further details, see the Wikipedia article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latvia

All the upland areas in the country are of morainic origin.    

The highest and most prominent hill in Latvia is Gaiziņkalns, in the Vidzeme Upland.  This has a height of 311.6 metres, and a prominence of c.187 metres.     

There are three hills in the country that have at least 100 metres of prominence.
