Volunteer Opportunities
The 2024 NC Envirothon competition will be held on April 26 - 27, 2024 at Cedarock Park, Burlington, NC.
Volunteers are NEEDED!
The NC Envirothon competition can average about 500 students, parents and teachers attending the 2 day event, so we need a lot of people willing to help us pull off an event this size. There are a multitude of jobs to fill on both days. Come help for both days or just one if you can't make it to both days.
Be sure to register by April 1st to receive a NC Envirothon t-shirt!!! Lunch is provided to volunteers*. If you register after April 1st you are not guaranteed a t-shirt or lunch. This is being done as a cost effective measure as well as to ensure food quantities.
Once you have registered a volunteer coordinator will be in touch!

Event Volunteers
Will you volunteer?
Event volunteers may consist of team guides, logistics, timers, and other general duties.
We need volunteers for both Friday and Saturday.
Please note that we will try our best to place you in the volunteer posts of your choice, but as volunteer jobs fill you may be asked to perform other duties as needed.

Oral Presentation Judges
Are you uniquely qualified as a resource professional, teacher or non-formal educator in North Carolina?
If so we could use your help judging the team's Oral Presentations. Our need for resource professionals to serve as judges is critical for Friday.
Oral Presentations will be held Friday, April 26, 2024.

All volunteers should refer to set GUIDELINES FOR WORKING WITH MINORS and agree to ADULT CODE OF CONDUCT.

*ONLY Volunteers with duties that begin before 12 PM will be provided lunch on FRIDAY.
*All Saturday volunteers are eligible for lunch if registered by April 1st.
