Welcome to the North Carolina Envirothon, part of North America's largest environmental education competition!
The NC Envirothon is an exciting natural resource education program designed to challenge students in an interactive, outdoor competition where middle and high school teams (consisting of 3-5 students) are tested in areas of Aquatic Ecology, Current Environmental Issues, Soils and Land Use, Forestry, and Wildlife.

The NC Envirothon Team finished 4th at the NCF-Envirothon in Alberta, Canada!They also had the highest score in Current Environmental Issues!
The NC Envirothon Committee is very proud to have been well represented at this event.
The 2025 NC Envirothon was held on
May 2-3, 2025 at Cedarock Park in Burlington.
