Countries

An Illustrated History of the Embroidered Silk Postcards is the standard reference book on embroidered silk postcards. It contains references to over 2600 different cards with over 270 illustrations. The section on Countries lists 45 cards. The cards listed below are additional cards discovered since the book was published. The new additions are shown in RED.

This section covers cards where the name of the country is embroidered on the silk panel of the card. A total of 69 different countries are represented and this gives an indication of how widespread the embroidered silk postcard was across the world.
