Tallin Smith

Born and raised in the large trade town of Iron bridge named after its founding, being the first town to use iron supports to hold the structure of the stone bridge. The bridge was designed and made by Lowen smith the great grandfather of Talin this giving the family a respected name within both the town and parts of Tear.

Talin was born the youngest of 2 his sister 2 years older and both brought up under the watchful eye of both his mother Malsea Smith and his father Henrick Smith both looking to have them train to defend themselves and their proud country of tear, Henrick being a blacksmith could only teach the basics but ensured they had the finest swords in town displayed proudly to show their family heritage but their mother being an Andorran blades master spent much time training the both of them but out of the two of them his sister Fellara Smith showed much more potential than Talin being able to keep focus and calm in every situation preparing for the perfect strikes as Talin would always prove too clumsy and hot headed blundering into every trap and trick without fail making him tough but still lacking skill.

Through the years of growing in skill and age he began to look into joining the militia but at 17 was recruited by the black tower this bringing joy to the family but his sister was not impressed resenting him and the opportunity he had gained wanting to fight side by side with the dragon.

He only began to learn and develop his ability to channel within the tower and proved much more talented in it than the sword often being scorned and punished for his inability to grasp even the simplest of sword training as quickly as the rest and also resulted in his exclusion from the battle but shortly after was recruited by rand for a special mission being given a sword and sent through a doorway.
