Radical creativity is my practice of using art as a guide and a guiding force, not seeking perfection, but to engage in continued exploration of different mediums, self-expression, celebration, healing, connection, and navigating life's transitions.
As a lifelong educator, artist, and certified Art Therapy Coach, I am passionate about helping others along their creative journeys. My path to arts coaching was deeply personal: after witnessing the profound, comforting power of art while providing home hospice care for my father, I learned firsthand how leaning into 'radical creativity' can help us move through grief to find renewed joy and purpose.
Today, I bring that healing, joyful perspective into my instruction and guided workshops. I offer experiences in a multitude of mediums—including painting (watercolor & acrylics), fiber arts (loom knitting & felting), book paper creations, collage and vision boards, forever flowers, and upcycling found materials into art pieces—bringing the art studio directly to people and offering small and individual sessions in my studio and gardens.
In addition to offering curated pARTies for individuals and groups, I proudly volunteer my work with local community groups and offer free classes in collaboration with the East Greenbush Community & Recreation Department and the East Greenbush Public Library.
