A Wood Product.
Portugal has an abundance of forested land and was once the worlds largest producer of cork, now in decline due to the use of other materials in items such as plastic wine bottle corks.. It also has large areas of pine and eucalyptus, with the eucalyptus grown mainly for the paper industry and pine used mainly as household fuel. Your task is to design a wood product using locally produced timber as a material that could help establish a viable local industry as a means of diversification into new employment opportunities.
