The zibda on this hypothesis is pretty simple. Through face-to-face, authentic communication students construct meaning and help each other make corrections necessary for communication. In other words, they will help each other with the grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation that is ONLY necessary for effective communication. The focus in not grammar accuracy; it is communication.
