The Behaviorists are those educationists that gave us Behaviorism - a learning theory that offers some important insights into how people learn.
Zibda: It is all about shaping behavior through reinforcement, punishment, and extrinsic motivation. Drill, practice and repetition play a very big role. Students are rewarded when they demonstrate the correct behavior. These ideas were popular in the 1950's. Pavlov is the father of classical conditioning.
