I 2014 dannet fem land (UK, South Korea, Estonia, Israel and New Zealand) "‘D5’ alliance of digital nations", og vedtok D5Charter … I februar 2018 ble også Canada og Uruguay inkludert i det som nå er D7 alliance of digital nations. I februar 2018 ble konferansen "Digital Nations 2030 - a global future summit" arrangert i Auckland, New Zealand… Nå kalles det visstnok "D9 - Leading Digital Governments", og ingen vet hvor byråkratiet vil ende…
