“ELL Voices in the Classroom” is a really important resource for me as it pertains to one of the main reasons I took the course. Knowing how to best support ELL students in a drama class is directly related their voice in a classroom. Knowing how to balance encouragement to participate and allowing them opportunities to absorb information is a difficult balance. This reading gave a lot of insight on how to best support students in class when it comes to their vocal participation. This would be valuable to any teacher working with ELLs as it provides suggestions on how to empower student voices and ensure everyone's voice is heard in your class.
