Taster Session 3: Glass blowing – baubles and bubbles
Learn how use a mini-blow pipe to inflate molten glass and blow a glass bubble. You will learn some simple ways to decorate the bubble and how to safely take it off the blow pipe. Turn your bubble into glass baubles for your Xmas tree or just enjoy them in a bowl in your house. NB: Learning glass blowing takes time and patience and its rare to get a bubble the first time you try.
Taster sessions 2.5 hours
· Prior experience necessary – you must have some prior experience of lampwork glass. Please discuss with Glenda. · Maximum: 2 people per session· All materials provided.· Minimum age: 16 years.· Fee: $120 per person.
