Arabesque
INSPIRATIONS: Arabesque is a bracelet inspired by the geometric patterns and rich colours found in many Arabesque designs. I have been especially inspired by the romance of the intricate carved marble patterns found throughout The Alhambra, a Moorish palace in Granada, Northern Spain. I visited it many years ago and its beauty and magic has finally found a way into my beadwork. .
SKILL LEVEL: Suitable for experienced beadweavers.
STITCHES: This project uses a combination of many types of stitches and beads – Peyote, herringbone, ladder stitch and right angle weave are all used .
