VOA News Plus is a multimedia textbook.

It can be a challenge.

To succeed with this book, here are my suggestions ...

1. Register on EnglishCentral and davesll.
   - use your university email address
   I also really recommend NOT making a second EnglishCentral account.
   This usually makes problems more difficult to solve.
   I can help you with any problems that might arise.
   

2. Go to EnglishCentral
   - watch all of the videos
   - do all of the (coursework) assignments
   - check and confirm your score is 100%
   

3. Go to davesll.
   - do all of the (homework) assignments
   - check your answers as you study
   - fix any mistakes to improve your scores
   - remember to click "submit all and finish" after each assignment
   - you can repeat the quizzes if necessary
   

4. Still on davesll . . .
   - do all of the short vocabulary tests
   - have your textbook open beside you when you do each test
   - remember to click "submit all and finish" after each test
   

5. Ask me or a study partner for help anytime you need it.
   

6. Finish all the assignments; check your grades and celebrate.
   

Remember, you can choose any style of study that works best for you.
