How to do the Premium Reader Intermediate assignments...

This is the course page for Premium Reader Intermediate on the DavesLL website.
To help you work more smoothly, quickly and improve your grades, it is important to understand the preparation, structure and instructions for these assignments.

PREPARATION
Before you do the assignments, I strongly recommend you read How to succeed or check out the tutorial.
I'll post the link to the tutorial in the transcript below.

ASSIGNMENTS
There are two kinds of assignments... study quizzes... and tests.

STUDY QUIZ STRUCTURE
The study quiz assignments are not tests.
It is possible to get a score of 100% in every study quiz.
You just have to work hard.
COURSEWORK & HOMEWORK grades are based on your study quiz assignment scores.
The features of these quizzes include...

- Questions in the study quizzes are the same as the questions in the textbook.
- Check and correct your answers if you want to improve your scores.
- You have five attempts.
- The pass mark is 60%.

If you need more attempts, just tell me.
Scores of less than 60% are still valid and count towards your grade.
They are not automatically changed to zero.

STUDY QUIZ GOALS
Do all the study quizzes for the semester.
Get 100% score.

STUDY QUIZ INSTRUCTIONS
This is how you do the quizzes.

・Click on the quiz link. For example, unit 01...
・Then click on "Attempt quiz now".
・Do the quiz...
　- answer the questions
　- check your answers
　- correct your mistakes
　- finish the attempt
　- click "Submit all and finish"
　- check your score

Remember you can repeat these quizzes if you want to get a higher score.
It is much easier and faster if you refer to your previous quiz attempt while you are completing the 2nd attempt.
If you do multiple attempts, only your highest score will be submitted.

TESTS STRUCTURE
Your TESTS grades are based on short essay tests.
These are manually graded tests.
I usually do the grading near the end of the semester.

The features of these tests include...
- You have ONLY one attempt.
- The pass mark is 60%.

Scores of less than 60% are still valid and count towards your grade.
They are not automatically changed to zero.

TESTS GOALS

Complete and submit the tests for each semester.
Get the best score that you can.

TESTS INSTRUCTIONS
This is how you do the tests.

・Click on the test link. For example, test 01...
・Then click on "Attempt quiz now".
・Select one unit from the textbook and complete the following in about 50 - 100 words or more.

1. The unit number
2. The unit title
3. What is the main idea of the reading?
4. What do you think of the reading? (your opinion) Why?

・finish the attempt
・click "Submit all and finish"

Try to demonstrate you understand the meaning of the reading passage you selected.
