Reflection regarding how well outcomes were met and insights for future application included the following:

Formative assessments completed early and mid semester showed competency levels regarding how well the students understood the importance of rhetorical context to the developing the message, as well as areas of instruction needing adjustment. In the future, the online journal responses can provide opportunities for peer review and practice with editing. Instructor insights:
