Notes for Louison Tesson Honoré

Was the son of Louis Tesson dit Honoré and Madeleine Pitre.⁴ Madeleine was English by birth,¹ so her name listed here may be a French version of her real name.
In 1776, he was a trader.¹
Was a 2nd sergeant in the Spanish militia at St. Louis in 1780. He was a tailor by trade at the time.²
He was living with his family in St. Louis in 1791.⁸ This Spanish census also records his 60 bushels of wheat and 50 bushels of corn.
His burial record states that he was "aged about 63 years."⁵ Because of other sources on his age,^1,2 I believe he was really about 52.
