Visits & Events

Our events include the annual Nick Cahill Memorial Lecture, a short series of online lectures, visits to buildings and places of interest, an Autumn party, and an annual general meeting. 

Members may be asked for a contribution towards the direct cost of outings or events where applicable.

We are currently planning our visits for 2024 and details will be sent to members in due course. 


BOOKING IS REQUIRED FOR ALL EVENTS TO MANAGE NUMBERS

PLACES ARE GIVEN ON A FIRST-COME FIRST-SERVE BASIS & WITH PRIORITY TO MEMBERS


Fully-paid up members can book for free; non-members will need to pay £5 on the day.

Online lectures 2024

Our programme of exclusive members-only online lectures is now underway! 

Details will be sent directly to members closer to the time. Attendance is free for members, and recording of each lecture will also be made available for members only to watch again. An incentive to join!

We will also be running an online lecture in August which will be open to all. Non-members will be asked to pay a small fee. Further details to follow. 

CBG AGM 2024

Our annual general meeting will be held on 23 April 2024, at Wheal Martyn Clay Works Museum near St Austell.
