During my tenure at the Sioux Council I had many opportunities to work with Native American tribes. Reservations in my service area that had scouting programs in my tenure were: Rosebud, Crow Creek, Santee, Yankton, and Eagle Butte. Experiences include:
Worked with Tribal Leaders to build and promote Scouting on three reservations
Developed dorm facility Scouting program at two reservation schools
Partnered with Boys and Girls Clubs to provide Scouting program to Native American youth as an after school program
Helped design mobile Nature Lab program to provide scouting/nature opportunities for Native American youth
Worked with traditional Scout units on the Rosebud Reservation
Created a traditional Pack on the Santee Reservation
Created a traditional Troop on the Cheyenne River Reservation (Eagle Butte)
