Today we looked at the "6 areas of technology". (Intro to Technology)

1. Energy and Power

2. Communication

3. Manufacturing

4. Transportation

5. Construction

6. Biotechnology

We had some great discussions about what is and is not technology. We also discussed what would fall under each are. Technology is basically any man designed or made "thing" that fulfills our wants and needs.

Over the next few days we will start searching for photos on the internet and identifying what technologies are being displayed. These photos will be organized into a PowerPoint presentation also.

Parents, I am in need of tissues! Lots of noses in my room and I have no tissues. If you could send a box in with your child, I would greatly appreciate it and the students will too.
