The Maxwell Fire Department protects approximately 75 square miles. This protection includes the City of Maxwell and Indian Creek and Washington Townships.
The Maxwell City Council and the 2 Townships govern the department. The 3 entities share the station and its firefighters.
The Fire Department is headed up by the Fire Chief, an Assistant Chief, a Captain, and 3 Lieutenants. The Department has 13 firefighters
The Department is committed to be proactive and professional in the areas of Fire Prevention, Education, Hazardous Materials, Training, and CPR Training
