IV. Display
Overview
This chapter describes how to use ROI tools and the Zoom function
1. ROI
1.1 ROI Types
3 kinds of ROI can be used:
Rectangle
Ellipsoid: this type of ROI can be rotated.
Single Point: this type of ROI can be shown interactively. See section 1.3 for more details.
1.2 ROI Waveform
Avg Line
Display the averaged signal level in each task block. Temporal mean, standard deviation and correlation coefficient will be shown as well.
Scale
Abs
Rate
Fixed
Auto-set the intensity range of y-axis
Use median signal intensity to normalize the signal change and displayed in percentage
Use user specified max & min values of y-axis
ROI Pixel
Display the waveform of each pixel in the ROI. Value 0 shows the averaged waveform.
Zoom
Select display type when the scan number is very large.
Signal Change
Calculate the signal change percentage between the specified task blocks, and time lag.
ROI Info
Show the spatial mean, standard deviation, and their ratio in the ROI of the specified scan number.
Bg Color
1.3 Interactively Display ROI Waveform
The waveform of a pixel can be displayed following the movement of the mouse cursor. This is helpful for checking the image. To use this:
1. select the "Single Point" ROI type.
2. choose a pixel.
3. click on "Show ROI" to display the ROI waveform window.
4. keep the ROI waveform window opened and click on another pixel. The waveform of the pixel will be displayed.
