All England Club Visit

The club was invited to the All England club at Wimbledon on 30 August for a croquet match on their immaculate smooth and flat lawns. We were treated to a guided tour of the Centre Court royal box, members area, trophy cabinets and honours boards and excellent lunch and tea. Fittingly for a friendly, the GC element of the match ended 4-4 and the AC element 1-1. All in all a fabulous day out. Team members are listed in one of the photos below and one Cheam member, Alison Edwards, was guesting for the opposition as she has long standing connections to the AELTC
