Croquet
1) Free sessions
Members of the public, over 18 years of age, may attend up to four Croquet Club sessions without charge. The four free sessions are a lifetime allowance , not per season.
After four free sessions, to continue to play, application may be made to join the club's membership waiting list.
Croquet Club sessions are normally held on Tuesday and Wednesday morning from 10am - 1pm, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 2 - 5pm. There are a limited number of spaces available at each session.

2 ) Public coaching course
The club runs an annual six-session croquet coaching course each summer. Those completing the course are likely to get priority places on the membership waiting list. Please contact us if you are interested in taking part. See details and this year's dates on the separate coaching page
3) Pay and Play Sessions
New for 2024 : We are introducing pay and play sessions on Monday evenings from 6:00 to 8:30 PM from May to July.
Cost £5 per person - all equipment supplied and experienced players on hand to guide if required. Max 8 players.

Bowls
Bowls Club sessions are normally held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 2 - 5pm. Please contact the club secretary ( details as above ) if you are interested in joining.
Equipment
All the equipment needed to play croquet or bowls is provided by the club. Players MUST wear flat-soled shoes (no heels). The club only has adult-sized equipment.
Groups
Groups may hire the lawn by arrangement. This provides exclusive use of the lawn for a session, the provision of the necessary equipment and, if required, some basic coaching.
Open Day
The club runs an annual open day when you can try out croquet and bowls free of charge. No equiment needed - just flat soled shoes.
