Steve joined Barnes Aerospace in July 2025 as Senior Vice President, Original Equipment (OE) Engineering. He plays a pivotal role in leading the development of Barnes Aerospace’s engineering culture across all OE sites, ensuring alignment with business strategies, annual operating plans, and performance expectations. Steve has 30 years of experience in operations management, engineering, and sales, primarily with propulsion system OEMs and Tier-1s. Before joining Barnes, Steve served as COO of EDAC Technologies, where he was responsible for operations, engineering, technology, and supply chain of a $200+ million multi-site operation. Steve’s leadership continued after EDAC Technologies’ acquisition by Hanwha Aerospace, where he was appointed COO and later CTO. Prior to that, he held the positions of General Manager with Whitcraft LLC and Vice President of Sales with its parent company, Whitcraft Group. Steve holds a Master of Science degree in Operations Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as a Master of Science degree in Metallurgy from the University of Connecticut
