Originally a Bronx, New York native, I moved to New Haven Connecticut where I received my high school diploma from James Hill House. Shortly after high school I enrolled in Gateway Community College undecided about what degree plan to pursue. After three semesters of general studies courses, I transferred to Central Connecticut State University and enrolled in their Civil Engineering program. After receiving my bachelor’s degree, I joined the labor force as a Transportation Engineer. I later received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Connecticut. I am now employed by the Connecticut Department of Transportation working on various Traffic Engineering concepts and designs.
