Thinking about Roundabouts

Scott is a licensed Professional Engineer and has been with CT DOT for about 30 years. Mr. Bushee’s career has involved Interstate Highway Interchange designs, many intersection safety and operation upgrades and a numerous roadway designs involving general safety improvements, complete streets initiatives and upgrades involving state of good repair on Connecticut’s roadways. He has also led the design for several miles of multi-use trail completed in Cheshire, CT on the Farmington Heritage Canal Trail and is currently leading 5 miles of design on the same trail network on Plainville, CT. Mr. Bushee has led the designs for 6 roundabouts on state roadways for CT DOT, and also leads the Departments Roundabout Committee where he assists others with best practices related to roundabout design.
Scott will cover planning, design and construction related to roundabouts.
