Services: Neurocognitive testing and psychological testing for ages two and up for neurodevelopmental disorders and disabilities, conditions caused by fetal alcohol syndrome, on rare occasions will approve testing for complex cases of ADHD.
Insurances Billed: OHP and commercial insurance plans.
Referral and testing process: PCP sends referral requests to OHSU clinic with patient diagnoses, ICD codes, patient’s insurance and chart notes. After referral has been reviewed, the clinic contacts the family and sends the family an intake packet to be completed and returned. The waitlist for neuropsychological testing is approximately seventeen months; the waitlist for psychological testing is nine months to one year. After testing is completed, a follow up appointment is scheduled to discuss results and recommendations for follow up care including speech therapy, occupational therapy, and other outside providers.

Services: Neurocognitive and psychological testing for ages two through thirty for evaluation of ADHD, Autism, learning disorders, intellectual disorders, and giftedness. “Both providers evaluate for autism spectrum disorder, ADD and ADHD, learning disabilities, and personality and mood disorders. Dr. Hogansen specializes in brain injuries and more complex neurocognitive testing; however, will not see patients over age thirty. Dr. Scheidel will see patients up to the age of 60.”

Referral and testing process: PCP sends a referral with chart notes, diagnoses and ICD codes to the clinic to be reviewed. After clinic reviews referral, an intake appointment is scheduled within approximately eight to twelve months. After the intake appointment, the testing appointment is scheduled within approximately one week and the feedback appointment is scheduled one week following the testing appointment. Within two to three weeks, a comprehensive report is securely emailed to the patient and or caregiver.
