The Corvallis Clinic Employees: Providers and Staff
In many cases, employees of TCC may be better served by a referral to a provider outside of TCC. We generally recommend that providers utilize our EAP program or an outside therapist rather than see one of our integrated behaviorists or specialty psychotherapists. This is to preserve a provider's privacy and confidentiality and to ethically avoid harm that may result from dual roles (i.e., in which the therapist is both a provider and a colleague). Information about our EAP program and obtaining services using insurance, see below.
TCC Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The TCC Benefits Booklet provides this description of our EAP program:
"Each person’s life includes its own unique set of challenges. Sometimes personal challenges can become too big or overwhelming to be solved alone. Asking for help can be the first step towards resolution. To help you cope with these challenges, we offer and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Cascade Centers. This program is available to you and your household members. Enrollment is automatic and The Corvallis Clinic pays the full cost for your coverage. The EAP is completely confidential and the information you disclose is never contained in any company personnel records.
