Mons ☼ Camping Du Waux-Hall
Tidy site in walking distance of town centre. Useful for WW1 sites.
Mons itself appeared to us as a bit dodgy and run down.(2001)
Brugge ☼ Camping Memmling
Site is ordinary but located well for visiting Brugge either by bus or cycle on cycle lanes. Only 24 km from Zeebrugge docks. (2002)
Ypres Camp Jeugdstadion
Ok site in a convenient spot for walking in to the town and Menin gate. Is in a sports complex and too many members of public were about and using the facilities for our liking. Security for the caravan however is good with key operated barriers. (2000)
Kemmel ☼ Camping Ypra (Listed under Ypres)
Tidy site, shower block was in porta-cabin (when visited) but much better than it looked. Kemmel village very nice. Good for touring the salient. (2006)
Gent Camping Blaarmeersen
Good site with hard standing pitches, bus to the city outside the gate. (2009)
Nieuwpoort ACSI Kompas Camping
Very large site of mostly static pitches. Large and well drained pitches, and luxurious sanitary blocks. Strict pitching instructions regarding placement of car and van. Good night halt before ferry.
Ferries Dunkerque 54 km Zeebrugge 56km (2018)
Luxembourg
Diekirch ACSI Camping de la Sure
Site ordinary but pretty location on riverbank just outside of the town. Nice town with good shopping. Good cycling tracks along riverbank. (2003)
