Command: LINKPOINTS

LINKPOINTS automatically finds out the center points or insert points of selected Points, Circles, Texts and Blocks, then connects them with polylines in a short path. It may not be the shortest path sometimes. But it provides a reasonable short path in an acceptable time.

Disconnect long distance segments?  [Yes No] <No>:

Sometimes selected items form a few groups and they are far away from each other.
Select Yes to create separated polylines and disconnect these groups.
Select No to connect all items with one polyline. 

Select objects:

Valid objects are points, circles, texts and blocks.

1. If a single item is far away from any group, it is considered as an isolated item. When you selected "Yes" in "Disconnect long distance segments" prompt, LINKPOINTS connects it to the nearest polyline with a red-colored polyline.

2. It takes a few minutes to process 800 items. 

3. You can also select "No" to connect all items with one polyline. It will try linking selected points with the shortest polyline.

4. Sometimes the result of "Yes" option to disconnect groups is not accurate.
