25a. Late Georgian (Gananoque) City Hall
As time went by, the (plain) original Georgian evolved as people became wealthier and desired something a little fancier. Think of the 'Late Georgian' as a Georgian in a party dress. The shape, symmetry, roof and windows are basically the same, but numerous small changes appeared that mad the building, not just practical, but attractive!
25c. Late Georgian (Niagara-on-the-Lake)*
* Newark (Niagara-on-the-Lake) buildings were, with one exception, burned by the American forces when they retreated in 1813. As a result many of towns buildings were rebuilt a short time after this date. The building above is unusual in the fact that it is only one room deep.

25d. Late Georgian (Galt, Cambridge)
The Late Georgian, like its older brother, may be found in both urban and rural settings. Georgians with their attractiveness and practicality have never gone out of style.
I was surprised to recently discover that attractive homes in upscale neighbourhoods were being torn down and replaced by versions of 'The Late Georgian".
