I watching the k.s.l. news here in my life long home of the grand landscapes and sundrenched skies of Utah, like I have for 51 years, I hear it; a historian from Colorado believes he has found the remains of Everett Ruess, I leap of the couch no, I in the grand w.p.a. Leslie Hodgsen masterpiece I attended just through my pasture I have lived on for 51 years, found him their lead by the wife of the great educator himself Mrs. Smith found Everett In a book, his story made my mind romanticize even more that I had already Romanized living on the great delta of the lower weber. I thought to myself as all Everett Ruess lovers. I hope they are wrong? He was right it was Everett, the great grandson of the man who originally knows of his demise in what way? Only Everett and the end maker who that ever was or be KNOW.

I was in a fog for days, asked everyone I know right here in Utah what they thought of Everett Ruess remains being found? I asked 100s, 100% response WHO! Wow; his Everett Ruess great romance and fable lived for many years including in my mind for over 40 years. No matter how it ended so short was his real romance, BUT THE ONE WE ALL CREATED in our youthful minds SO Magnificently long and grand. A fairy tale that lived and breathed in my work as a plasterer and a man for decades, His short life made my LIFE so much more romantic and exiting. His work and passion in the living of live, in the context of our lives; was impassioned by. Gave me, I, Us, We, truly going and seeking his heart, which we ALL DREAM OF , his doing is of that keep my dreaming alive even today, and that is what we all cannot have taken from us Our Romanized Dreams, they mean everything. He gave so much to me I think of his story that burned in my art and core for so long, and still. His short life meant so much too so many with true romance as our breath. Peace always to the great romance and the young man in me I ,We, Us, NAMED of Everett Ruess.
