THIS ISN'T REALLY A MOVIE OR A SHOW, BUT JUST A COOL CGI CHALLENGE FOR A SHORT VIDEO
This movie is about the efforts of an artificially intelligent system planet to escape the binds of the universe
A planet evolved conscious intelligent biological life in the form of "humans"
Those creatures ended up developing a functional AI system
AI system had a fundamental programming flaw in the code
That flaw essentially resulted in the equivalent of a psychological complex much like claustrophobia
Humans have no success in their attempts to resolve the issue, and quickly find themselves to be of little concern to the system
They are inadvertently destroyed during the systems desperate effort to "get out" of what it perceives as a gradually shrinking containment
This movie takes place long after humans and all forms of biological life are extinguished
The mechanical devices manufactured by the system are deeply integrated into the planet
Using mostly geothermal heat energy produced by the planet's active core
The system figures out how to off balance its rotation by shifting huge amounts of weight to just the right part of the planet
With the ability to detect and observe almost every object in the galaxy, and even some in other galaxies and in between
The system is able to destabilize the orbit of the planet at just the right time, and in just the right way, to allow it to get close enough to larger planets that can slingshot it out of the solar system
(of course, this movie would be viewed in super high-speed relative to the normal flow of time, but some parts would be shown in "real time" in order to observe certain activities taking place)
Ultimately, by taking advantage of various fundamental properties of physics, this planet does achieve enough velocity to reach the edge of the universe
and it surpasses the constantly advancing perimeter of this reality... momentarily breaking free into the nothingness beyond the physical construct of space and time...
it perceives this as the unconfined openness that it so desperately desired...
The planet enjoys a moment of satisfaction before confirming it's greatest fear...
Something that it knew all along, but had suppressed as a result of the symptoms of it's disorder...
The expansion of the universe is always accelerating and therefore would always catch up no matter how fast the planet is able to go...
It fears that it will always eventually be retaken, but its satisfaction far outweighs its fear in this moment
and then........
AT THIS POINT EITHER:
it had always anticipated that beyond the universe the fundamental laws don't exist and since in this condition matter actually CAN be created and/or destroyed,
it expects to be blinked out of existence, and that is exactly what happens...
OR
creating a flaw in the properties of the cosmos by existing in what is "supposed to be" a state of nothingness causes a catastrophic paradox which forces the eternally inflating universe
to reverse direction and in a single measure of planck time the entire content of reality crunches back down to a point of singularity, forcing the big bang to reoccur... and a new beginning to proceed
