Learning How to Support Your Little in the face of Racism, Implicit Bias and white PRIVILEGE

You are invited to our workshop on Allyship & Systemic Racism Training hosted by BBBS of Metro Chicago in partnership with the Covey Group.  In light of the most recent conflicts between police and citizens in the U.S. (Chicago), these workshops are  designed to educate, support and guide participants in their own understanding and challenges Bigs face in support of their Littles. The workshop will take place via zoom, see details on how to register below. 

Workshop Objectives:

•  Raise awareness of the current climate of police brutality, protest and the fight for racial justice, with a focus on whiteness and privilege

• Help mentors support their mentees by understanding their own challenges and the needs of the youth they serve

• Set the stage and create a foundation for an ongoing “Learning Journey”
